DME Tree header and trailer element with "space" / "blank" as constant in the end

Hello All,

we are trying to create a DME tree where the last element of the header and trailer nodes must be having the constant value as (Blank or Space) with 40 Char's. 

we put the element as constant and length as 40 and in the value for constant we have not entered any value since we expect blank spaces must be populated for 40 spaces in the end of Header and Trailer of the DME file.

After making the able changes in DME when we are downloading the file to text document and seeing instead of having the 40 space in the file the file is showing us zero spaces in the end of  the header and trailer.

can any one help me in this regards

Hi

You can make sure that spaces are added as follows:

In the transaction DMEE --> Head --> Format attributes --> Field type = <blank>

Hi - I am having the exact same issue and I already tried using Field Type = blank and 2 but no spaces are being populated on my last element of the header record...

Any other suggestions?
