PROFILE_NOT_FOUND using MSS Add on

While using MSS Add on , in the home page i get the following error.

sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/HRMSS_HOMEPAGE was terminated because of an error.

Note The following error text was processed in system XXX : Exception condition "PROFILE_NOT_FOUND" raised. The error occurred on the application server XXXX_XXX_00 and in the work process 3 . we are not using Leave Request application in ESS.

how to solve this?

please advise which version of EA HR MSS you are on ? SP03 has lot of fixes,

Also, There is a section which shows incomplete timesheets You can check that and maintain CVR

cause dump if you see occurs at CL_HRMSS_AS_CATS_APPR_DASHBRD=CP

This is for CATS

You need to maintain profile also in SU01 ie

1)The user parameter CATS_APPR_PROF has to be maintained for user in SU01 transaction, this is approval profile

my question is if we don't use CATS, still we have to maintain the parameters?

ideally you shouldnt, but there is a iview which lists timesheet to be completed for the managers.

if you disable that from the iview it should be fine.

also, i meant the version of EA HR MSS, ensure on that you are on SP03, lot of fixes were released for it

launch this from se80 >PAOC_MSS_HOMEPAGE_WDA

Configuration Name   HRMSS_HOMEPAGE

and then check error in st22.

and remove this iview from your MSS homepage, ie Component Name: HRMSS_C_CATS_APPR_DASHBRD

or make elements which required a CATS profile hidden in the configuration for the floorplan manager

Thanks, it has started working now.

however,In the Team View, I get

• There are no Customizing settings for ongoing requests for employee xxxxx
• No Team setup for the user in the selection period. Contact Administrator

I guess HR Consultant has to do some customizing.(he must have missed)

Hi  Rajendrakumar,

I don't know if you found the answer to your above questions. I am an HR consultant and I had the same problem.

Make sure folowing customizing has been done:

Personnel Management --> Manager Self-Service (Web Dynrpo Abap) --> Working Time --> Team Calendar --> Select Employees

Here you need to specify for each Rule Group if they can use the team view.
For MSS : View group && MSS_LEA_EE

I solved my problem.

Now, in ECC6 EhP7 version, HRMSS_HOMEPAGE_OVP component is under :

SE80  : Package -> PAOC_MSS -> PAOC_MSS_HOMEPAGE_WDA -> Web Dynpro -> FPM Floorplan Configurations (no Component Configurations anymore !!!!!!!!!) -> HRMSS_HOMEPAGE_OVP

Why only HCM_LOC_11, 12, 21 (India??)......? and not all?

sorry but as my version is EA-HR 607 (because of EhP7),

EA-HR_MSS 1.0 has been retrofitted into EA-HR 607. So, once you have the Product Version: EHP7 FOR SAP ERP 6.0 or HR RENEWAL 1.0 installed, EA-HR_MSS 1.0 will not exist as a separate add-on.

I have an issue that seems to be the same as described in this post.

My configuration :

ECC6 EhP7 and Portal 7.40.

I have installed these BP :

BP MSS ADDON 1.0

BP ERP ESSWDA 1.50

BP ERP05 COMMON PARTS 1.61

and I have activated BF on backend side.

Now, when accessing Home from Manager Self-service I have this error :

But no dump!

When looking for HRMSS_HOMEPAGE on PAOC_MSS_HOMEPAGE_WDA package in SE80, I don't have it.

you have to install the MSS Add-on 1.0 component in ECC side also. then it will display all applications related to MSS.

MSS Add-on 1.0 component details are below. Check with your basis team is it installed or not in ECC side.

Interesting... this usually is a CATS Timesheets related Error because of missing parameter CVR...

Is ST22 telling you something which application throws the error?

EDIT: eh.. CALLSTACK does say it is from cats.. CL_HRMSS_AS_CATS_APPR_DASHBRD=CP. Are you using CATS?

It probably has something to do with OBN and UIBB.

But my knowledge about these technologies ;-/ is too limited. I can only guess CATS dashboard is somehow accessed via OBN on the homepage and crashes.
