major difference between TECO,CLOSE and LOCK.

Hi,

    I would like to know the   differnece between TECO, CLOSE and LOCK cant we post the postings after  these status??????????

IF you set the status CLOSED, means the order balance is zero then only system will allow set closed, that is order is settled, or order is not yet started

in closed, reservation will be deleted, capacity requirement will be deleted, and goods movement and confirmation is forbitten

In TECO, you can set at any time, even the error in COGI, once you set the TECO, the capacity requirement, reaservation will be deletd, but  system will permit the goods movement and confirmation

In LOCK, system won't allow any goods movemnt and confirmation,

once you set the status, you can edit till revoke

The Basic Diff. is that

TECO- Goods Movement Not possible Confirmation is possible

LOCK- NO goods movement No confirmation

CLSD-goods movement not possible and confirmation is also not possible

Basic difference is:

TECO: goods movement is possible, confirmation not possible.

CLSD: goods movement not possible

LOCK: goods movement not possible and confirmation is also not possible.

Hi,

1. Goods movement can be posted in TECO status, but in closed status it can't.

2. Cost can be posted in TECO, but in closed status it can't.

3. System allows to do TECO even if the order has goods movements error, but in closed status it can't.

4. TECO status will have order cost, but in closed status order cost must be zero value.

But in LOCK status you can't post any activities in that order.
