Kernel Upgrade for SAP 46D HP-UX

Dear Gurus,

My SAP is running on Oacle 9i (9.2.0.5), SAP BASIS 4.6C, SAP Kernel is 46D_EXT, OS is HP-UX.

I am required to do a Kernel Upgrade for this environment.

My questions are as per below:-

1) I cant seem to find the latest Kernel Available for my system mentioned above in SMP. Where to find it in SMP  ?

2) How do I carry out this Kernel Upgrade activity and what is the step by step procedure to do a kernel upgrade in HP-UX ?

Hi,

Kernel upgrade guides/links you can find easily on SCN/Google, but finding the latest available Kernel patch for your relase is difficult .

All of the products that you are using are out of support by the owners, Plan an upgrade to avoid such support related issues.

PLease go to Support Packages and Patches -> Archive for Support Packages and Patches -> Archive - Browse our Download Catalog -> Additional Components -> SAP Kernel.

As for kernel upgrade, kindly do a serch in SCN, there are many guide and thread to guide on how to perform kernel upgrade.
