In consolidation business rule I see two differen kind of rules used one is 1-POWN for minority interest and another one I_POWN in case of proportional method.
How different in I_POWN from 1-POWN.
Appreciate inputs.
Hi Sridevi
1. POWN means multiply by the percentage owned
2. I_POWN means multiply by the percentage the parent owns of the Intercompany trading partner, 3. 1-POWN means multiply by the percentage not owned (i.e., the minority share).

Hi Sridevi,
Can you please tell me where it is in the Business rules, i saw in the Automatic Adjustments.
As per my knowledge 1-POWN FOR MINORITY is if the company is giving amount on the basis of Equity and Purchase methods.
I_POWN it wil come in the concept of Joint ventures(Propotional method).
Please correct me if i am wrong.
Regards,
Srinivasan.
