BPC 10NW on GA

Is the BPC 10NW is GA from rampup.

According to one version of news it was supposed to have been released on April 23rd. It is released already. What is latest on this?

Also I heard that BPC 10NW  GA is delayed due to HANA's delayed entry for intergration to BPC? What is latest on this hot stuff?

Appreciate sharing information..

Hi Sridevi,

Regarding SAP BPC with HANA, you need to have BPC 10.0 NW SP 06. Please check SAP Note 1668815 for the same.

Hi Sridevi

BPC 10 NW has gone GA on 23rd April as per the last communication I received. In terms of the delay, it is a major release and had to gone through some stringent testing.

There are various factors and influences in ramp up process, primarily due to having ramp up customers going live with the product, but it is officially GA.

Hope this helps

Kind Regards

Hi jacinto,

I am slightly frustrated with the way SAP is insuring communication with Product Availabitlity (especially when a product is GA).

My expectation is that there is ONE single place where customer can quickly found the solution availability (Ramp-Up, General Availability whenever it is available)

My understanding is that this place should be :

https://websmp202.sap-ag.de/pam

I am interested to know the status of SAP BPC 10.0 NW but I could not find it in the above link.

That's frustrating !

Let me be a little bit sarcastic here.

We have often SAP presentation on EIM (Enterprise Information Management). It is explained that to have data entered once is the best practice (and brings a lot of added value).

Could SAP apply this rule on Product Availabality ?

It is not the first time I see major delay in the above website ... I can not understand why. Is it too complex to have a checklist of communication tasks to be performed when a product is in RU or GA.

If this website is not THE reference where can I find the latest information ?

Hi Patrick,

BPC 10 is GA since Apr 23rd as suggested by Jacinto. You can get the same info here -

https://websmp202.sap-ag.de/pam

Although the PDF suggests that it BPC 10 SP06 will be GA on 30th Mar 2012 but I believe it is GA since 23rd Apr. Same has been suggested here -

I hope it helps!!
