Hi Experts,

to cleaning COGI for some item shown errors due to deficit of  stock to be consumed with movement 261 we increase the stock via MI10 then we try to make the COGI Correction and in the month closing we post the physical stock via MI07

I want to mention that these item belong to the BOM

my Question here is : is the method is correct ? if so can some explain how the process is done by SAP To have a correct consumption of the item in SAP PPPI

Thank you for help

If that is your client's standard process then it's not correct. MI10 increases stock with movement type 701, which is stock adjustment (physical inventory). Most clients do an analysis of the stock adjusted based on the movement types 701 and 702.  There is some problem in logistics at your client place. You need to find out that, you need find out why there is stock on shelf (when the finished product was made) but not in entered in SAP. One reason could be, they're not doing goods receipt (for purchase order if it's a purchased part, if it's a manufactured part they're not doing it with reference to production order).

You need to avoid MI* transactions as much as possible in your regular business process. The more stock adjustment (MI* transactions) the worse your process is.
