Dear Sonali,

As sushil said through PA30 - info type 0023 we can maintain the Previous work experience  . before that in back end we need to the do the  configuration  please  follow the steps

Create Employers industry Sector

IMG->Personnel Management->Personnel Administration-> Employee Qualifications-> Other/Previous Employers -> Create employer's industry sector  .

Here you can maintain the industry sectors  Ex : IT Industry , Pharma etc............

Create activities in employment

IMG->Personnel Management->Personnel Administration-> Employee Qualifications-> Other/Previous Employers -> Create activities in employment

here you can give  the designations earlier what they have  Ex : manager , Consultant

work contracts from other employers

IMG->Personnel Management->Personnel Administration-> Employee Qualifications-> Other/Previous Employers -> Work Contracts from Other Employers

here you can give the contract  or regular

after giving this you can go to pa30 there you can see all your details what you configured  .
