Intracompany STO process

Hi,

     Do we need to maintain purchase info records in case of an intra company process or is the special procurement key enough? Also how are the condition types and the invoice determined in the case of the intra company process ?

Hi,

The Intracompany process is stock transfer between 2 plants of the same company code. The price in PO will be from the material master of the issuing plant  so we do not require purchasing inforecord which we need incase of Intercompany stock transfer.

The condition type for freight will be used in the PO and which you will be paying the freight Vendor.

Intrs company stock transport order process Purchase info records are not required.You need not maintain any separate accounting entries.

Hi,

In a Intracompany STO delivery costs can be involved, so a price schema must be maintained.

On the other hand, Invoice is not determined since in a Intracompany the plants belongs to the same Company Code

Hi GS,

It is not essential to maintain Info record .

the system can pick prices from MEK1 , if its available

otherwise it ll pick price from existing PO.
