First of all I'am a Basis guy, and I would like to have some advise with regards of our PI ESR. Currently we are running ECC EHP5 with ERECRUIT 605 component on separated server. The problem was occurred every-time we try to load the hire request under sap.com/xi/HR/Global/messages mappings.
In the messages ESR always popup and error like: Message Type HireRequest doest not exist in software component version ERECRUIT 604. By what we have now is apparently we already imported ERECRUIT 605 (Based on the software components from EREC system), and its somehow not connected and not correct ?
I'll appreciate if someone can advise me if we have something missing in common.

Hello,
When a mapping is created, then it will always refer to that Software Component only even though you have a imported newer version of the SWCV. An absolute reference is created to the SWCV where it was originally created in.
There are two ways to resolve this:
1) import the ERECRUIT 604, into the ESR as well to resolve that error.
2) If you don't want to do this, then you need to go and manually change the Message Mapping in
SAP HR to point now to the message_type HireRequest in ERECRUIT 605 (and Save it and Activate).

Thanks for your help. I decided to change the message mapping (and OM) manually.
This was also the advice given when I raised it on OSS. (I like to get the official answer because changing the SAP ESR content is a bit like a repair to standard SAP.)
