REG base qty for a BOM

How a BOM is defined?

There are two things:

1. Header quantity

2. Component quantity.

So a BOM is defined as how much quantity of component is required to make a certain quantity of header material.

e.g.:

1.5 Kg of component is required to make 1 Kg of header material.

If you want to go reverse then be careful.

The BOM Base Quantity refers to the Header Material only.

No you can not define separate base quantity of header material for each component which is used in BOM.
