configure UWL SAP Portal 7.3

Hi, I need information for how configure the Universal Work List (UWL) in Portal 7.3. I've only found for version 7.0, thanks, regards.

I guess the same way, with which the UWL configuration in 7.0 is valid for 7.3 as well.

Is this a New installation, by the way?

Hi Anibal,

As advised, you can follow the same way to configure the UWL in 7.3 Portal.

It seems you can not migrate the standard UWL object from 6 to 7.3, because the the technology core and the framework is very different in 7.3 portal.

You can work on the standard iview provided in 7.3 and configure the required UWL systems and work on the customization as described in several documents and discussions here in SCN.

Hi Aníbal,

For searching through the documentation you can find the configuration for the UWL for a specific version by doing the following:

help.sap.com

Type in the search area: UWL configuration

When the document opens go to the advanced search, and click on this link

Type in Universal Worklist configuration

(Search Mode: And)

Product Type SAP Netweaver

Area SAP Netweaver

Application SAP Netweaver

Release 7.3

Click search and you will see the first link Universal WOrklist

Click on this link, and you will see another link to Configuring the Universal Worklist

Then Click on the Configuring the UWL link and this opens the documentation for version 7.3

This will help with any documentation that you are looking for.
