EWM - Steps to define plant as business partner

Former Member

Hello gurus,

I'm new to SAP EWM and I'm in a big trouble...

I'm trying to create inbound deliveries but they are not replicated in EWM.

I got the following error message : "No unique partner found for plant 0002".

I'm pretty sure it's because I'm not able to set correctly a BP to the plant.

Could you please guide me through this ?

These are the steps I've done in Tcode "BP" :

- Create as organisation

- Choose role BBP0003

- In identification section :

  • ID type : 1001 (type CRM011)
  • Identification number : 0002 (plant code)
  • Responsible institution : EWMTEST (the name of the unique logical system for both ERP and EWM)

P.S : EWM is installed as an add-on, it's running on the same machine.

Hi Bahia,

Be sure that the Business partner is not in an integration model and so is doubled. It happened to me.

All the best,

Hello Caludiu.

Thank's but I'm not sure this is the cause.

When I launch BP transaction, I see only 1 partner (the one I tried to create for my plant).

Found it.

There were several locations for the same plant.

I've corrected the entries in the tables /SAPAPO/LOC and /SAPAPO/LOCMAP and created the business partner manually again.

Thank you all for your help.

Hi Bahia,

I am having the same trouble than you. I tried to create the BP same way as Best Practice documentation says.

I also checked entries in the tables /SAPAPO/LOC and /SAPAPO/LOCMAP and seem to be okay, but still getting same error: "

/SCWM/WMEBASICS021 - No unique partner found for plant

"

Could you please be so kind to help me solving this issue?

Thanks in advance

Antonio

Hi,

this BP should be created by transferring the vendor customer master assigned to the plant in ERP via CIF and additionally assinging the ID Type CRM011 in EWM. Detailed instructions can be found in the Solution Manager Guides.

Hello Juergen,

You mean I have to create a vendor master for the plant then to CIF it ?
