K item cat. in BOM and get duplicated in sales order

Hi,

   I create a configurable material and use class as its BOM..While configuring this material,K class is duplicated in CU50 or VA01..but it's good in the planned order after running MRP...

  What's the probable reason for it?thanks..

Look,0040 is duplicated and i should only see one of them.

After MRP,the planned order is fine..only one item is chosen...

Monst Yang,

Please check have you used multiple value characterstic inside this class and assigned 2 values instead of 1?

It is not possible to replace a class item with more than one object.

Multiple selection flag' only means that all the objects are shown in the result screen.

However it is only replaced by one component.

please check  Note 438683, it  describes the functionality of the flag.

Usually when more than one item is found, the first one (or the last one) is used to replace the class node.

Please check and come back with findings.

please tell me how many values you have assigned in CU50 or VA02?

and i didnt understand what you want to chnage using SE11?

please provide screen shot of BOM with class tab.

     seems I know the reason now..

    Regarding class 200 & class 300,I use different class name and if I snychronize these class names..I can only see one time now..

But now the item category is K instead of L in above screenshot..Is it correct in this way?I prefer to see a L item to know which raw material is selected...

as its K means that your class is not replaced by a components associated with class.

hope you have created a material with classification view and attached class of type 200 with certain values into it.

these material will replace your class in result screen.

please check.

     Yes..I forget to update the class name  inBOM..But the problem exist after I update the BOM...I still see duplicated item in CU50.....

      At least,I know the class name could be different...hehe..

      Do you need other screensot?

Hi Friend,

can you please compare your structure with structure in my blog, you will easyily itendify the diffeence.

regarding your duplicate items , i thinh when you are assigning values 2 components are getting selected for that value and that why you are getting duplicate in result but only one component in plan order.

please tell me what quantity you have put for this class in BOM?

put only 1 as quantity in BOM  and execute CU50  or VA01, i hope then it will be only one component in result.

can you check have you assigned the value to more then 1 material in classification view ?

possible there are 2 materials with same discription but different material number  and have same value assigned in there classification view of materil master.

please post screen of material which is appearing  as duplicate in result screen.

i want to see how many classes you have assigned to it and if what type.

Also i havent got any mail from you.  so check my id in my profile and  send it again. if required.
