Nagios with Rule based system monitoring

Hello All,

We have setup rule based monitors in our solution manager system to monitor the satellite systems remotely. Now we want these monitors to be integrated with Nagios monitoring tool and have a central display for all the alerts. However, Nagios is not able to read the data from rule based monitors and throwing an error as “No Information gathered! system up?” like one below.

Nagios works perfectly with static monitors and display alert correctly. On Nagios side we are using the config file which has below format & which is only working for static monitors.

DESCRIPTION="DEV SMR Templates"

MONI_SET_NAME="SAP DEV Systems"

MONI_NAME="R3"

PATTERN_0=*

We have tried different patterns but it’s not working for rule based monitors. If any of you have worked on integrating rule based monitors to Nagios monitoring tool, please help us in configuring these things.

Paste here the commands.cfg and the services that you define.

With the PATTERN_0=* it will be too hard to understand the alert
