Hi Neha,

I need one help to understand the SAP HANA career path.

I am working with Dell Service as Mainframe DB2 Developer into Banking domain and purely in Development (having full knowledge of SDLC process) and having 7+ Years of experience. I want to switch technology and want to move into SAP HANA. Can you please suggest will it be a good move into SAP HANA? If yes then what would be the right approach.

I am having strong hold on these areas.

1. SDLC process and documentation

2. Banking domain knowldge

3. Strong into DB development including SQL

I have been following all the discussions and collected the information, but I do not have information on SAP Hana for reporting. Is there any detailed material for reporting like modelling Guide and Technical operation manual.

I'd suggest you refer to the Modeling Guide at http://help.sap.com/hana/hana1_model_en.pdf and also refer to the BO tools related material.

I saw in few of the comments people are asking about dumps, I would not suggest anybody to use dumps to prepare for SAP HANA Certification exam.

Instead if you want to make yourself aware about the exam structure and question format, you can search for sample questions for sap hana certification exams (C_HANAIMP131 or C_HANATEC131) like

HA350 is a proprietary document of SAP and it is illegal and unethical to freely distribute them or ask for them

Please delete your comments

If you want to leqarn about Data Provisioning, then you can check my blog for materials related to it
