All,
We have a requirement to implement BOB Scenario using CRM as backend in one of the clients here. I was succesfull in setting up the scenario and even placing an order. I had couple of questions and need clarifictions on the same. I would really appreciate your help on this.
1) I have set up a contact person and assigned him to a BP with SoldTo role.
2) I have created couple of other BP's as person and assigned them the "is end cutomer of" relationsip to the sold to.
3) Only the customers associated with the above relationship are showing up in the customer search screen in the application.
4) Any BP's associated with relationship "has a ship to" for the sold to is not showing up in the customer search screen.
Question: So do we have to set up all ship to's as "End Customer of" the sold to?
If yes then when the order gets created what will be filled in the ship to details?
Also since master data is maintained in ECC, How will we map the shipto's to the "Is end customer of " relationship?
Please help me understand the above.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Please have a look guide:
A quick guide to B2B XCM configuration
http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-5292
Denis.
Hi Denis,
I went through the document and what i understood is that itsa document for XCM settings. I have already done all those and the scenario is up and running.
I think the business partners have to be set up in a different way for the BOB scenario at the back end CRM. I wanted more info on that. I can see lot of discussions on the ERP scenario and how a R3Reseller group has to be created etc.. But I dont see any help for setting up the same in CRM.
Do we have to do the same setting as R3 with the new group and download it to CRM?
Thx.
Hi Kiran,
as we are creating orders for "sold to parties" , in BOB Webshop , only those are appearing in filter of customers.
can you pls. elaborate why exactly you need the list of " ship to party" customers in customer search.
Generally , ship to parties are assosicated to "sold to " but we do not create orders for "ship to ".
regards,
PD
