Enter DVD mount points for upgrade from 4.7 to ECC 6 EHP 6

Hi,

can any one suggest me what are the DVD's will be asked by SUM when upgrading 4.7 to ECC 6 EHP 6.,

Please see the below screen shot, i am taking to the same screen when i say continue.

You need to have all the possible kernels for NW release 720 EXT 64 bit on Solaris SPARC.

install/upgrade/arch/51041985_5_v2/NW_7.03_Kernel_7.20_EXT_HP__SOL/DATA_UNITS.

K_720_NI_SOLARIS_SPARC

K_720_UI_SOLARIS_SPARC

K_720_NV_SOLARIS_SPARC

K_720_UV_SOLARIS_SPARC

as mentioned in the note Note 1300960 - Problems with MID-based DVDs during upgrade

in the section Handling the kernel DVDs

To be more clear here is the directory structure it should be

Hi,

you need to download the files from EHP 6 FOR SAP ERP 6.0-->ORACLE DATABASE--> based on SAP NETWEAVER 7.03

and For Kernel you need to download 51041985

and 51041985_10

and 51041985_9

51041985_14

51041985_17

once you download kernel, unzip 51041985_10 and 51041985_9

and you will SLCONTROLLER 700 and 720, please copy SLController 700 and 720 to kernel directory DATA_UNITS

and in the same way extract

51041985_14

51041985_17 and copy the files DB INDEP USER ENV   and ORACLE USER ENV  to kernel directory DATA_UNI...

Hello mahesh,

Tool is asking for the Kernel DVD , but in the attached snapshot I could see that kernel DVD is not provided. Kindly download the kernel DVD from the SMP and provide it to the tool.

For the proper media, please check the Media Guide.

Try to download the kernel for unicode and non-unicode, then SAPCAR into one folder.
