Hi SAP Experts,
I am just wondering what does environment parameter refer to and what is the use of it
Please get me a detail definition on this.
Regards,
Vignesh
Hello Vignesh,
you can find EH&S environment parameters in
SPRO
Env., Health and Safety / Basic data and tools / Basic settings / Specify environment parameters
They can be seen in table
TCGENV
They can can also be updated online using function module
C1I0_TCGENV_UPDATE
Have a pleasant day,
François

Hi Vignesh,
Environment Parameters are additional component which drives the busienss process in addition to regular 'Customization'
For Example,
1) WWI_DATA_SERVER_ANCHOR: c:\wwi\wwi_genserver (With this envt parameter, we are defining the WWI Sever Locaiton)
2) SVT_MATERIAL_CLASS: ZEHS_SVT ( With this we are defining which Materials are relevant for SVT by defining the pertinent Class)
In this way, we are defining the Global Paratmer for that Respective sub module / process. Sub modules like SVT, IHS, OH, Waste Management etc...
Please note, the Environment Parameter are applicable entire sub module means once we defined any envt parater for SVT then it will be applicable to ALL svt business processes.
Regards
Amol
