Errors while RSC configuration with UI

Hi All,

I get the Proxy error: port is incorrect while configuring the UI setup.I tried without the proxy as well, but it fails.

The IE uses the same proxy to connect to SMP. All S user pre requisites have been completed.

Valid system details in SMP and license key has been added.

Kindly suggest

Hi Atul,

This error explains the problem:

EXCEPTION

com.sap.smd.agent.application.rsc.core.activation.SecurityException: Error
while silently connecting: org.w3c.www.protocol.http.HttpException: Proxy
responded: HTTP/1.0 407 Proxy Authentication Required

errorCode: ERR_LOGIN_02

The problem here is that the proxy is not accepting the proxy username and
password that the customer is entering into the RSC UI logon screen.

  • Are you sure that a username / password is required? 

  • Have you tried using the proxy information but without the username and
    password?

  • Can you try without the domain name and just use the username and
    password?

  • Can you try the short proxy hostname instead of the FQDN proxy hostname?

  • Can you check with their proxy administrator to see what username
    and password is required if any?

  • Are you logged on to the managing host as a domain user?  If so, log
    off and back on as a local user then try to connect to the internet with IE. 
    Does it prompt for a logon?  Does the logon work here?

After checking the above information, you should have this resolved.

Please try to use CNTLM proxy software solution..


It works for me..it's freeware and easy to configure.

Hi Atul

Can you please try this and confirm if it resolves the problem?
