How check or uncheck a prompt in a report with BICS connection?

Hi,

In BI 4.0, when you create a report on Bex Query (with BICS connection), by default, all the prompts of the BEX query are automatically displayed.

Is there a way to unselect a prompt from the Bex query in the webi prompt screen?

Hi,

in the webi query panel, there is a 'set variables' button, where you can make variables optional and set a default value etc.

however, i don't think it's possible to suppress/hide it.
You may have to make it a hardcoded filter in Bex query itself.
