    PHAP_SEARCH_PA - Export to Excel (enhanced)

    Hi All - I am having an issue while trying to use the transaction phap_search_pa to export a listing of appraisals, the status and the final rating.  (I have played around with this in the past and exported a spreadsheet) 

     

    My report has around 15K rows and when I click Export to Excel (enhanced) the file is created as an .XLS file   When I try to open the file with excel, there is only one row in it.  We have recently upgraded to enhancement pack 5 so I'm not totally confident that the enhancement pack had no adverse effect.

     

    Has anyone out there had any experience in this transaction and interaction with Excel ?

      as you can read on next attached note:
      - 1474437  Excel Export: Restrictions are not documented

      limitation to export to excel just 20 element is due to technical
      settings of the Excel download.

      However, you can use option 'Export to Excel (Enhanced)' to solve this
      limitation applying next note:

      - 1481345  Advanced export to Excel

       

       

      The data that is downloaded to Excel is the Final Appraisal values.

      Therefore the only notes you will be able to see when downloaded are the

      ones from 'Final Appraisal column'

       

      Anyway, the export to excel function is a badi implemnetation of

      Badi HRHAP00_REPORTING (implementation HRHAP00_REPORTING_02), so

      if you need more than FAPP column, you can always create your own

      implementation.
