Reservation MB21 Queries

Hi Experts,

We want to add reason for movement in MB21 Movement  type 201, also we want that if suffient stock is not available, system should not allow user to post MB21. How to achieve it.

Hi Rajeev,

You can use "Item Text" "RESB-SGTXT" field for entering reason for movement in MB21. Make this text field as "Required Entry" for 201 movement type in OMJJ under the "General Data" tab for field "Line item text".

Now, if you create reservation in MB21 for 201 movement type, you will find the "Text" field as "Required Entry". This text will be stored in RESB table for that reservation number.

For the second part of your question,

Reservation document is a request to store person for goods withdrawal on a particular date. With this document you can plan your goods issues.

Go to OMJJ give movement type select Reason for movement type under tree node Movement type, here you can mention your reasons by clicking new entries.

For second question set message M7 181 to error by using OMCQ. This will through error message when reservation qty greater than available qty.
