For CIP/AUC type of assets we can post capitalizations on multiple entries - this approach is correct.
And for a normal fixed asset it is better to capitalize the asset with the correct value in a single posting document and do a post capitalizaion if you feel the value of the asset is higher than the existing APC value.

hi krishna,
always better to post to AUC assets even if u purchase from Single or Mutiple Purchase orders. You can capitalize the asset when it is required.
