We are working on an upgarde of a 19 TB BW database from 3.5 to 7.3 (on AIX/DB2 on IBM P770) and would like to to know any estimates for upgrade itself and unicode conversion (especially, the scans for single code page and export/import). I understand the time estimates will depend on the hardware and other optimization I am aware of the SAP estimation notes out there, but am looking for some real experiences for timelines and recommendations.
We are planning on using table splitting and parallel export/import.
We are likely not going to use the combined upgrade and unicode conversion (CCUC) and are going to upgrade first and then do Unicode Conversion.
