Hi Experts,
I am extracting SD-Data through the 2LIS* DataSources with queued delta. When we did the Init-Load, we set some filters on SalesOrg. Now we are getting a new SalesOrg which shall also be extracted to BW (there have not been any postings yet).
Are the new records automatically getting into the delta queue? Or is there customizing to be done for getting them into the delta-queue?
If the new SalesOrg's postings are getting into the delta queue would the correct procedure then be:
1. Empty Delta Queue in the ERP-System
2. Delete Delta-Initialization in BW
3. Do an Init without data transfer in BW
4. Start Delta-Update in BW
?
Regards
Markus
Hi Marcus,
If your Init does not have the new Sales Org, the Delta won't pick up this information.
The procedure you mentioned is the correct one.
1. Empty Delta Queue in the ERP-System (twice for any doubt)
2. Delete Delta-Initialization in BW
3. Do an Init without data transfer in BW (include all Sales Org)
4. Start Delta-Update in BW
Here just a recomendation, BE SURE there are no postings while you are doing the init delta and the last DELTA you launch
and I'm sure you know this but I wanted to remark that: This should be done before or at the same time the configuration for ECC is taking place in PROD, this is to avoid any loss data between the ECC configuration and Delta's new INIT.
Hope it helps.
Regards.
Hi,
Where you are maintaining 'filters on SalesOrg'? Add the new Sales org also then you ll get data automatically.
Note: If you don't have this filter concept in your flow then there is no need to do any thing to get the new Sales organisation data, automatically when the user do some posting using that new sales org, it will come to Bw in the next load.
Anand.
