Public/Open RFx requires at least one bidder to be entered

Dear Experts

We are using SRM 701 & RFx.

Step 1) Create a Public/Open RFx. The expectation of this type of RFx is

that, RFx will be published to all the suppliers.

Step 2) Unable to create the RFx without entering at least one bidder in

the "Bidder" tab of the RFx.

This creates auditing issues whereby why should one choose a particular

bidder in a public RFx? If any of you have fixed this issue, please give some hints.

Thanks

Hi,

As per the working process of the bidding, one has to add at least one bidder in restricted or public bids.

Now the bidder can be dummy bidder or guest bidder.

Create guest user with minimum authorizations & assign it to bidder list. So that whenever you open bid one can select guest user. & to make it public you can also display guest user id & password on the same page itself.

Regards,
