Not able view message payload in RWB

Former Member

Hi,

When we go to http://<server>:50000/rwb/index.jsp,
click on COMPONENT MONITORING->Display->Open Non-Central Adapter Engine - > Adapter Engine PID/PIQ.
Once you open the above links Go to STATUS TAB and click on Communication Channel Monitoring (a pop up opens) and filter by any adapter.
When you open the adapter and click on the message guid, a pop up opens showing the audit log, but it doesn't show any of the Message Status TAB / MESSAGE HEADER & XML PAYLOAD which should ideally show the appropriate payload depending on SENDER/RECEIVER direction.

Please help on this.

Your userid might requires sufficient role and authorization. Please refer this thread

Hi Baskar,

Thanks for the reply. I have added all the roles previuosly as mentioned in the given link. But still i am not able to see the payload in communication channel monitoring. I am not getting authorization error. It is showing only audit log.

Please advise.

Hi Robin,

Thanks for the threads.

in the first thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/1979308  .  At last it is mentioned to change the NWA Parameter for RFC Sender. I am not clear about this.

Butas per the 2nd thread ,messaging.syncMessageRemover.removeBody already set to false. That is the reason why i am able to view the mesage payload in NWA - message monitoring.,

Our requirement is to view the payload under RWB- Communication channel monitoring.

Kindly advise.

Hi Kirthi,

Have you tried to add this role SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER_MAIN to your user?

Have you checked the PIRWBUSER roles in the identity manager?  (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/48/a9bab37e28674be10000000a421937/content.htm)

Hi,

Role SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER already assigned to PIRWBUSER and admin user. I couldn't find the role SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER_MAIN.

I have assigned unrestricted access role to both admin and pirwbuser but no luck.

Please help me on this.

Hi Kirthi,

I too had faced the same situation some time back where I was not able to view the Message Content. We have 2 options i.e. SOAP Document and Payload in the Message Content tab.

With the same roles which I provided, I closed all the existing sessions and tried to open again

This time I was able to view the payload.

Hi Baskar, Robinson

Many thanks for the advise.

Unfortunately still the issue is not resolved after adding roles. I can't find any abap roles since we are having PI 7.3 JAVA only system,

I am able to see the payload content in NWA-> Message monitoring but its not showing under RWB-> Comp montoring-> non central adapter engine-> Communication channel monitoring-> select any channel and click on the message. It is only showing audit log not the pay load content.

Hope you can help me further.

Thanks

Hi Kirthi,

As Bhaskar mentioned about the role SAP_J2EE_ADMIN, it would be enough. Parallely you can also

add the following roles.

a.     SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR_ABAP

b.     SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR_J2EE
