LT01 issue

Dear

Material master is extended to one storage type ,when i am transfering material from one bin to another bin having different storage type for which material is not extended through Lt01 t-code,system allowing to post the entry  why?

Actully at the time tranfering ,if material is not extended for storage type system should give the error message ,

A material master does not need storage type views except you do fixed bin strategy for this storage type.

Hi,

Can you tell what is the Mvt. Type that you are using for creating this TO?

If the material is being moved to GI Area's (like 911, 912, etc..), system does not pop this message up as it generates temporary bin's for these.
