Scheduling WebI reports only if report fetches data

Hi,

I want to schedule WebI reports and send the report in pdf format vai email to my recepients only when the report fetches data. If the report does not fetch data, the scheduler should not send mail. I am using Business Objects XI 3.1. Please help me in acheiving this.

Hi Santhosh,

I agree with Simone that the feature is unavailable for Webi reports and it can be achieved using Publication and it is the easy way.

Becasue there is not such a functionality like in Crystal Reports, what I would do is :

Create a Webi Document with summary of values for all recipients and then use it as a dynamic recipient list for a  Publication... 

I.e:

User     Email          Total Sales

A          a@b.com      10 

C         c@s.com       200

in this example user B has no sales so it won't receive the publication
