Hi,
I'm using 0CO_OM_OPA_1 datasource to fetch the plan data for internal orders into BI. The dataflow is:
0CO_OM_OPA_1 --> ZOPA_O01 (DSO) --> 0OPA_C11 (InfoCube)
As per the definition of this datasource, it doesn't fetch delta records at all.
If the 2012 budget for an internal order is set as shown in the table below, the datasource will extract these 12 records and loads them into the DSO.
Fiscal Period | Budget |
1.2012 | 100 |
2.2012 | 100 |
3.2012 | 100 |
4.2012 | 100 |
5.2012 | 100 |
6.2012 | 100 |
7.2012 | 100 |
8.2012 | 100 |
9.2012 | 100 |
10.2012 | 100 |
11.2012 | 100 |
12.2012 | 100 |
But if a subsequent change is made to the budget (for the same version), and the value is deleted for the January and February months (as shown in the table below), the datasource will fetch only the 10 records for which the value exists:
Fiscal Period | Budget |
1.2012 | |
2.2012 | |
3.2012 | 150 |
4.2012 | 150 |
5.2012 | 150 |
6.2012 | 150 |
7.2012 | 150 |
8.2012 | 150 |
9.2012 | 150 |
10.2012 | 150 |
11.2012 | 150 |
12.2012 | 150 |
In the DSO, the values for Fiscal period 3.2012 to 12.2012 will get updated accordingly. However, the old values for 1.2012 and 2.2012 are retained in the DSO as the datasource doesn't fetch these records.
This is obvioulsy resulting in an incorrect budget report.
One solution that I could think of is to delete the existing budget data from the DSO everytime the load the full data fresh into the DSO. This also means that I need to delete all the full data from the InfoCube as well before loading the budget data. This will result in really long data loads.
Is there any other solution that you can suggest?
Regards,
Sri.
I am afraid, this is the only option for right budget figures.
You can use delete complete PSA and DSO contents, and Delete overlapping request from cube.

Hi Sri,
You can use the 0OPA_C11 directly to load Plan data as full and it should be loaded once in a planning period.
Check this link for Data loading process,
