Disable thousands separator in parameter dialog

Hi,

the parameter dialog of CR2008 always shows a thousands separator in the text field to enter a parameter. In most cases, in particular years, it doesn't make any sense. For example "2012" is displayes as "2.012". Can this be prevented?

Hi Florian,

When you create the Parameter change the format or use Edit Mask to set the format you want to use.

  But this requires converting the number parameter to a string parameter. I don't think this is desirable.

    If in the list of values for the parameter you have 2012, enter a 'Description' for that value of 2012. Then, set the option to Display just the Description in the list of values.

      I don't have a list of values though. The user may enter any year.

Hi,

Right Click the Field and Select the Format Field.
Change the Format.
