Hi,
We were able to access uPerform application to perform initial configuration with username: Admin password: admin
However, we did not change the password for admin & got out of the web session.
Now, we are not able to log back in with the Admin account (Admin/admin)
Given that we haven't created any users yet.
Also, we have tried userID uperform_admin & upsInternalUser with default password, and still NOT able to access.

the link http://[server]/gm/Helpdesk?format=EU_ResetPasswordXML.shtml should be working if the server is running fine.
please make sure all the services are up and running.
restart the services if possible and try again to reset the password.
If still not working, may need to check server logs.

I was doing a search and I notice that this question was answered in OSS.
To help others I hope you don't mind me placing it in this thread before you close it.
During your initial Administrator login, you should have been prompted
to supply an email address which would be linked to the Admin user
account. Please try the following steps to reset that Admin password.
1. Navigate to
http://[server]/gm/Helpdesk?format=EU_ResetPasswordXML.shtml
2. Enter admin in the User ID: field.
3. Click OK.
This will generate a random password and send it via email to the email
address associated with the admin user.

Looks like I answer the wrong password question in my last reply.
I don't have an answer for you on resolving this, feel free to create a ticket on Ancile component in SMP. Supplying the logs and system release in message will help us.
In order to collect application log files from your PC, please
perform the following:
1. Open uPerform Client on your PC.
2. Click Tools > Options > General tab.
3. In the logging area, set the log level to debug, and the publishing
level to debug.
4. Click OK.
5. Go to Tools > Options > General Settings under RWD uPerform server.
6. Click Test Connection.
7. Acknowledge the error message and click OK to close the pop-up.
8. Click Help > About > Create File.
9. A zip file namely SysInfo_2011xxxxxxx.zip will be created on the desk
top.
