Time Gurus,


City of Seattle passed a new law where if employee return back to work within 7 Months of Termination, then employee is entitled to receive Accrued Sick Vacation before the employee left the company.

Not sure how to build this in Time Evaluation or Dynamic Action to generate a Sick Quota for Rehire employees.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

I think we can query on this operation in the PCR OUTWPMASSN

MASSN  =     Action type Check is there any termination for back date 7 months if yes bring the balances , if no stop the rule.

PCR OUTWPMASSN read the action type for that day.

How can I ready the Action type in the past?

I will have to write a custom operation to read the Action Type in the past and read the Begin date.

If I do that, how do I compare if the begda was before 7 months or not?

Do you know any operation which can add or reduce days to the system date? For an example If System Date is 08/18/2012 how to I deduct 210 days from the current date in order to compare it with BEGDA of previous termination date?

After doing that how can I bring the Balance from Sick Quota Type which was end dated 5-6 months back? Operation HRS=FRnnC does not bring balance if the quota is not active today.

We can query on this Operation HRS=Y click on F1 help.

YSAO  here O stands for months .

You can check for the 7 months of termination condition by having a date type for termination/ separation on IT 0041. Coming to the accuals for sick quota, configuration will depend based on the accruing process and the validity dates, Hope this helps.
