Personalize Tab not opening in SAP CRM WEB-UI level

Hi,

In our newly installed SAP CRM 7.0 / NW 7.01 system, in WEB-UI level personalize tab is not opening.

It does not showing any error message alos.

When i click on personalize tab, the tab its self is not responding, tried by activating all SICF services. Still its not worked.

Due to this all my configuration part getting pending.

Please kindly suggest, how to enable personalize tab in CRM WEB-UI level.

Add authorization object: UIU_COMP.

the problem might be missing authorities.

Try to add auth. obj: UIU_COMP

COMP_NAME=CRM_BSP_PERS

COMP_WIN=MainWindow

COMP_PLUG=DEFAULT

This is the right answer.

To all the guys facing the same issue, here is some more info.

For IC Business Roles, you need the above authorization for each user that needs to personalize.

For non-IC Business Roles, the above PFCG role is not required.

The above behaviour is a bit funny, but true!

Also, the issue is not with the SAP system but with Internet Explorer.

The Personalize tab does not open in IE 10, but works fine in IE 8.

This issue is specific to Interaction Center Business Roles.

I will post further updates when the issue is fixed.

Hi guys,

In case you are facing this issue in IE 9 + for IC Webclient roles, the resolution is the SAP Note - 1953067 - Link "Personalize" does not work in IE9+ in IC roles

It worked for me in CRM 7 EHP3 for IE 10!

Hi Vamsi,

I was have the same problem, I could not get any "popup" / webpage dialog to work but the rest of the WEB UI worked ok. The SICF services appeared to be active the same as our CRM 7.0 without EHP1 and there everything worked fine.

What I have done is to activate all services under /default_host/sap/bc/bsp/  then restart the WEB UI and then popups started to work included the personalize. For sure activating all services is not the best idea but at least in the short term it fixed my problem. Therefore I need to narrow down exactly what SICF service/s under this tree needs to be additionally activated.

I know you said you activated all services but certainly in my case activating the services under /default_host/sap/bc/bsp/ seems to have fixed the problem.

I also turned off the popup blocker in the browser thinking that might be the issue but after activating the services I then turned the popup blocker back on and it still seems to work.
