Structural authorization issue

Dear friends:

We have some cases where employees get delimited their record in table T77UA, since they are no longer granted to supervision role for example. Then all of a sudden they can not see even their own data in the ESS... do you have any experience on this? how we could work these kind of cases?

Thank you very much!

Hi,

Off course it will as you are delimiting the entire authorization profile for the delimited date. The solution for your problem is you copy and create another authorization profile excluding supervision role from the date you have delimited.

I don't think delimitting entries in T77UA is the cause of ee not able to view their own data in ESS. T77UA is more of setting up structural authorisation based on P_ORGIN. Viewing own data is checking against P_PERNR authorisation. In fact if the ee only needs to access his/her own data through ESS, the id doesn't even need to be set up in T77UA.

Please check the user id's role to see if there're any changes (i.e. specific roles being removed) since the last time the ee was able to view  own record in ESS.
