Automatize the direct activity allocation (KB21N)

Dear SAPmates,

I have following issue, please help me or suggest me the best to do:

Is there a report in CATS or in controlling that gives the number of hours that an employee has worked for a cost center other than the his master/home cost center. (ie the cost center mentioned in this info type) ??

The purpose is to automatise the direct activity allocation (KB21N) for the alloction of the costs from the master cost center to the cost center to which the employee has temporarily worked.

Please advice me on this issue. It would be great if any links or material could be provided on this topic.

Hi,

If your company is really using CATS, then there is the possibility to have the hours charged from master cost ctr to other cosr trs, internal orders or WBSs valuated at std/planned hourly rate, without need of additional direct activity allocation.  Cost ctr line item report KSB1 shows the hours, too.
