I have two questions (and a link problem)
1. BPC Doc in general
I am having a look to SAP BPC 10 documentation as we will install it to test and check if we can migrate our applications with all our custom developments made in 7.5.
In BPC7.0 documentation, we have a lot of documents regarding parameterization of the system, dimensions, security, etc but I mean with a lot of details as per a new user.
In BPC7.5, a little bit less
In BPC10, very few, in the admin guide we have information, but we do not have the same kind of documentation that we can find for version 7.0
Even if the interface changed, can we consider that the core of the documentation of version 7.0 for parameterization is globally still valid for version 10 (only admin part, I know EPM is totally different than excel addin)
2. About EvDRE
I know that the EvDRE disappeared, there is a documentation about EvDRE in version 10 but at the very beginning of the document, they propose to have a look to documents on marketplace
For information on creating new reports and input schedules in this release, see the online help for EPM add-in for Microsoft Office and the add-in's documentation on SAP Service Marketplace
on creating new reports and input schedules in this release, see the online help for EPM
add-in for Microsoft Office and the add-in's documentation on SAP Service Marketplace
I went on the marketplace for EPM10
https://websmp201.sap-ag.de/instguidescpm-bpc, on the left I went into "EPM solutions, add-in for Office" and version 10.0. Is it there ? Because I only found there documentation about installation of packages
3. Problem of link
In the admin guide, there is a mention of a document for guidelines in EPM10 (https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/bpx-cpm)
But this link end with a 404 error.
Someone does know where to go for documentation (guidelines, examples, etc) about repor development in EPM10 please ?
Thanks you very much to all.
sorry I'm on 7.5 but on this link you will found docs, choose BPC10 for microsoft on the left side
this is for epm addin
check also the how to guides for epm add-in
