SAP LSO: Error when booking into curriculum

Dear experts,

I have created curriculum types (DC) and curriculum (EC). I try to assign a participant to the curriculum under tcode LSO_PSV1 but am unable to.

The message "Problems have occurred with the external course provider" appears.

Does anyone know how to resolve this ?

Hello Jess,

Might be the infotype 5042 is not maintained for the course. For external classroom training you have to maintain this infotype. You have to enter the correct external course id in it .

Also check if the attached note 1154139 is applied in your system.

Secondly make sure that correct number range is assigned in the Define Number Ranges for Course Participation Document - if the current number is set too low, it could lead to this error.

Also  The delivery methods External Virtual Classroom Training and External Classroom Training were introduced in release 600 and require a configured XI connection to an external LMS.

Hi Deepak / Chetan,

Our number range is set for 1000000000 1999999999 so this should be sufficient?

We are not implementing e-Learning or having external connections so I'm not sure why I am getting this error. Any other clues?

I have attached the Course Appraisal template in Course Type.

I get the course Appraisal  link while booking the course.

The problem is I am getting an error while Submitting the document and make its status to complete Status.

Error message is "Exception condition "WRONG_OTYPE" raised."
