Queue deletion stopped because of Non-visible Jobs and Non-visible SAP system

Former Member

Recently I tried to delete 2 Queues but could not

the reason is that

Queue 1 - is still "used by Non-visible SAP system 914,393"

Queue 2 - is still used by a LOT of Non-visible jobs

Has anyone got any information on the best way to handle this situation?

Thanks in advance

Dear customer

For your situation, could you please check that

1).make sure that the user who has "admin" right to do the "delete";

2).go into QUEUE--> then check if there is any objects(job/job definition/system) and

move them from the queue you will delete.

Hi Gao Feng,

re 1) I'm logged in as the Administrator

re 2) for the Queue if I select "Monitor Related Jobs" I get a blank screen. The key here i think is that there are "Non-Visible Jobs"

I have also tried these system Jobs with no luck:

*System_DeleteJobFiles

*System_RemoveDeletedJobFiles << Though there is a "Code" field on this one and I've no idea what to enter there.

Hi, Jamie

For point 2, you have to check "" as the following:

Message was edited by: Feng gao Regarding run the job "System_RemoveDeletedJobFiles", first time you just need to use paramter of "Process Server" and check the output of the file, it will show a code that was generated. then run the job System_RemoveDeleteJobFiles once more and make sure to use the "code" that was shown in the previous step as "code" parameter.

Hi Feng Gao - in fact I still had trouble at that stage, but I did resolve it.

I used a bespoke job definition to clear all Operator Messages (fortuntely no issue with this in this new environment still in project mode) and then I was able to complete the deletion of objects and delete both the Queue and the related SAP-system/SAP-Process-Server.

All done and dusted

Hi Jamie/Gao Feng,

I encountered the same problem which about the "code".

Is the code generated in log file?

I tried to copy and paste the code provided in the log file and run the job again it seems like not working.

Please help.

Thanks and regards,

Lian

Hi. Lian

Yes, the code generated in the log file.

You have to run "System_RemoveDeleteJobFiles" twice.
