Dear all,
is anybody able to tell me if I can configure OpenDocument that the BO server only returns a PDF-document for reports?
Thanks!
I think it is possible.
I am presuming you are using BI 4.0.
Go to help.sap.com> select Analytics > Go to Business Intelligence below then just below it you will find
Business Intelligence Platform (Enterprise) once you expand that you will find
Inside 4.0 search for "Viewing Documents Using OpenDocument" pdf.
It will be in Developer Documentation url parameters.
Open the English version for FP03 there you will be able to see teh Soutputformat parameter that you can set for pdf.
Hope it helps.
Thanks,
Dhrubajyoti Paul

Hi Gerrit,
I guess this post on the Idea Place hits the same target...

Looks like your requirement is not possible at the moment.
Regards,
Uli
Like I said earlier if you do not get the same behaviour for your target ouput like excel or rich text and if you get the same format for pdf ,a bug request can be raised.
As Uli had mentoned the link in Idea Place which says
"
The new openDocument API always returns a screen with Save, Drill, etc. menu
items.
We would like to use the openDocument API to return a simple HTML view of the
report data alone.
The only functionality that should remain is the option for displaying tabbed
reports.
We had this functionality in BO 3.1 but the openDocument was extended in 4.0
without the options to limit the functionality through parameters"
Thanks,
Dhrubajyoti Paul
