impersonation set as true not allowing to load crystal report 2011.

Hi Bhushan,

As required posting this question in new thread.

We are using VS 2008 with Crystal Reports 2011.

We have  installed runtime as per your guidance.

Now we are facing problem for impersonation.

We are setting impersonation as true in config file which is not allowing to load the crystal report .

We can't disable impersonation.

Please help.

Hi Sumit,

What version of CR assemblies are you using with VS 2008 in your application?

CR 2011 does not have any sdk, I assume you are using CR 2011 designer to design your reports.

Is there a error / exception thrown by the app?

Make sure that the account to which you are impersonating has access rights to the rpt files and read write permissions over the %temp% folder.

We are using 10.5 version assemblies with CR 2011. We are designing reports in 10.5 only and just running report on server.

No there is no error thrown by the app as we are not able to integrate CR 2011 with VS 2008.

Dear as suggested given rights to temp folder now it is working fine. Thanks for the support you extended !!

Also confirm whether we are on right track or not..?

I am glad that the issue is resolved .

You may want to upgrade to CR 2008 (12.0) in near future as there is no patch support for CR 10.5 as it is a bundled CR version.
