Hi,
I try to configure sap hr renewal. everything is working except the Landing page for HR professional. When I start the landing page I get the following error.
Your landing page is currently unavailable. Please try again later or contact your system administrator. Can someone tell why I get this message and how can I solve this?
Kind Regards,
Richard
Have you completed the activities in chapters 3.1.11 and 3.1.12 of the Administrator's Guide?

There have been quite many fixes since SP3. The newest version available is SP5.

Hello Kuncham
I'm in contact with the HR Renewal Development Team to solve the problem. The first thing you have to do is to log the the url calls by using F12 function (internet browser) or http watch (firefox).
It’s difficult to say what’s the issue. It would be good if
you can provide the network trace. You can do this in IE9 browser web developer
tool.
Go to Web developer tool
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ie/gg589507(v=vs.85).aspx
As explained below link
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg130952(v=vs.85).aspx
The result I had was that I got some 404 errors
I was missing /sap/opu/ in SICF. Its is not assigned as a requirement but you need a gateway server or you have to install the gateway add-on.
After installing the GW-CORE the above mentioned error where gone.
The next problem is that I mis PAO_USERCONTEXT in SICF.
Kind regards,
Richard
Hi All,
I started working on SAP HR Renewal. Added the roles to my user & activated Business functions that are required for PAO configuration.
And here i am struck as i dont have any document to start with the configuration.
Please, can any body send me a link or document that can guide me to know what are the pre-requisites, config steps etc,.
Regards
Moosa

Hi Raja,
I referred your blog and followed the steps to configure Landing Page.
However, I still get the same error

Also, When I try to configure Activate and Maintain Service in OData Channel, I get an abap dump.
Request you to guide me in launching the landing page.
Thanks!

Hello,
We are using SAP Renewal 1.0 SP3 and I have activate the required switches en autorisation according to the documentation. I know that some authorisation is missing, but I don't know if there are special authorisation is needed for gateway services. I can't find this in the documentation!
Can you give a overview of switches and authorisation you use?
Regards,
Richard
Hi,
I am also trying to activate the HCM landing page and facing a Java script error - sap.ui2.srvc is null. I don't even see the error message as you do.
Between us, did you try launching the landing page directly or using NWBC ? I tried launching it using the below URL -
http://YOURSERVER:PORT/SAP/BC/UI5_UI5/SAP/HRPAO_LPB_JS/MAIN.HTML?page=PAO_HRPROFESSIONAL
Also, were you able to successfully launch any WD ABAP based form in HCM Processes and Forms ?
Regards
Kuncham

Hi Kunchan,
I launched the landing page by url and NWBC. In both situations I get the same error message
I think its has something to do with the gateway services on the ERP system. I have send a message to SAP about this and when they have a solution, I will post the solution.
I couldn't also start het WDA based form, because they didn't exists on the mandant I just. In mandant 000 they are available. You must transport them to the other mandant.
Regards,
Richard
Thanks for the information Middleburg,
For the HCM P&F WD Form related issue - If you are interesting in copying the forms from client 000 to your testing client, you may want to refer the below link -
I did it by myself with client 000 password
Thanks
Kuncham
Hi Richard,
Yes, I have installed NWBC 4.0 client version and tried launching the Landing page application from the SAP Role - SAP_PAO_SR_HRPROF_LPCONF, but somehow the application is opening in Internet Explorer and displays the same error as you get -
"Your landing page is currently unavailable. Please try again later or contact your system administrator", I am sure this is not due to SAP Authorizations since I got SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW !
Are you trying to launch this application in a different approach, sorry, I am pretty new to NWBC UI, so not sure if you were launching the BSP applications right inside NWBC Client version
I shall keep you posted in case if I find any resolution for our current issue.
Thanks
Kuncham
