Error in Segment Builder CRM 7 EHP2

Hi all,

We recently upgraded our CRM to EHP2 and encounter problem with segment

builder.

Whenever we do classic segmentation, system will throw us the following

errors:

- CRM_MKTTG_SET/070/ID_for_segmentation_model_could_ not_be_created

- CRM_MKTTG_TG/001/Target_group_could_not_be_found_o n_database

We have done number range maintenance using transaction SNUM for object

CRM_MKTSET, CRM_MKTTG, CRM_MKTPF but still encounter the error.

Any lead is really appreciated.

Hello Kevin,

i guess you are using the standard segment builder from CRM 5.0.

It seems the SAP has switched completely to the high volume segmentation modeler since that flex modeler can also do classic segmentation with EHP2:

Please check the business function CRM_MKT_HVS in order to activate the new modeler.

thanks and really appreciate for your reply.

we have resolve the problem by maintaining number range in object CRM_MKTPRF as SAP missed the object in their SAP Note and they have updated it accordingly.

FYI, EHP2 does offer two types of segmentation to use, depending on the size of customer data. for less than 500K, SAP suggests to use classic segmentation while more than that HV is recommended. for us, we still have within range of classic segmentation and that's why we didn't go with the HV approach.
