hi All,

I see the below error when clicked on 'Test Connection' or 'CS Admin' buttons in OAC0 trx.

Error in HTTP Access: IF_HTTP_CLIENT->RECEIVE 1
ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED

Message no. CMS166

Please see below for the values I populated in the fileds. I was refering to the below thread which seems to have worked for some user (Mario Bisonti) . I don't even see the 2nd list (with the parameter: ) he mentioned in the thread.

http://scn.sap.com/thread/1825058

Content Rep.: ZKPLE (Active)

Description:    ZKPLE Content Server

Document Area:  Document Management System

Storage type:  HTTP content server

Version no.:    0046

HTTP server:   IP Address

Port Number:   1090

HTTP Script:  ContentServer/ContentServer.dll

Phys. path: E:\usr\sap\FFS\SYS\global\

Please advise what could be possible reasons I see the error. However, the documents are saving in the External Server when the Path is maintained for Storage Category - DMS_C1_ST, when the Original file is Opened in CV02N.

-Thanks

Hi,

This error is usually caused by a problem with the HTTP plugin. The HTTP plugin is used by default from release 6.10. Please try switching back to using SAPHTTP instead by creating the following entry in the

SDOKPROF table:

NAME:  USEHTTPPLG

VALUE: OFF

Leave all the remaining fields blank. Save your changes. Please also use the program RSHTTP05 to regenerate SAPHTTP and SAPHTTPA, and ensure you have the latest version of these programs as per the SAP note 164203.

Best regards,

Christoph

Dear Christoph,

I did update the Table SDOKPROF entries as mentioned by you. And, the RFC destinations for SAPHTTP, SAPHTTPA are shown with value 'Ok' when program RSHTTP05 is executed. In addition, I have checked the version we currently have for RSHTTP05 (Screenhot attached). We are on EHP5.0. So, I would assume we are having the latest patch installed already.

However, I see the below error now:

Message no. 04100

Connect Error: Connect to Host <IP Address> Port 1090 error: NIECONN_REFUSED

The Port number 80 was generated automatically, and I changed it to 1090  as suggested in help.sap for Installation of content server. I did check with the Network / Basis Admin to get more info on the error, but ended u with no help.

Any ideas??.

Ensure what port you have consigured in content server.

You can try to access your content server from web browser to ensure it is running.

I think the follwoing URL is still valid.

http://<host name>:<port no.>/Cache/CSProxyCache.dll?serverInfo

Try OS01 and ping specific server to ensure SAP is correctly resolving hostname of your content server

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your inputs. I have checked both the URL, OS01. OS01 returned successful result, but, not the URL. The URL prolly is not valid now. Still the same error. Scratching head.

P.S.: Do you think the SAPHTTP Version provided (Screenshot), in my earlier post have some relation to the error?.

http://<host name>:<port no.>/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfoshould give you a reply.

Do you have access to the Content Server itself?

What OS and version?

hi Jeff,

Thanks for your reply.

In OS01 - When the DMS Server 'Specific IP Address' is entered the results seem working fine. There's a statistics with TTL, Response time values, Packets - Sent/Received for the Specified IP Address. However, the

http://<host name>:<port no.>/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo  is NOT responding. The below message is displayed:

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Once again thanks for your inputs.

Then you are most likely trying to connect to the worng port.

Check your configuration via the installer choosing update and review the port set for the ContentServer.

hi Jeff,

We have installed - Content Server on Win 2003 and the process is working fine soo far.

Are there any clients using the Win 2003 Server &  Microsoft still support Win 2003 if there are any issues going forward?.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I have learned something new for sure.

Hi sdn sap,

how did you solved your problem?

I have exactly the same problem: http://<host name>:<port no.>/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo  is NOT responding.

What was the problem in your case?

Thanks a lot!

Marc
