Editing Form Template with Adobe Livecycle Designer results in blank screen.

I am using SAP Business ByDesign. I have downloaded Adobe Livecycle Designer and the Add-in from the Download Center in Application and User Management WC. When I attempt to edit a form template with ALD, a blank screen appears with the message "Loading form template. Please note that if Adobe LiveCycle Designer does not open automatically it may be because a pop-up window has opened and is hidden by the current screen. Navigate to this pop-up window and take any action necessary." However, there is no pop-up behind the screen.

I'm afraid that this problem happens to me and some of my colleagues who want to use the ALD. Our solution too has been to use the offline version.

I have raised this problem with SAP, but have not yet received much of a reply!

I have the same problems, went through the wringer with SAP, and now just edit offline. It works fine.

Thanks. I have tried editing forms offline, but I receive an error when opening a form that says "Cannot find 'C:\DOCUME~1\d000753\LOCALS~1\Temp\BYD40.tmp\MainSchema.xsd'. Check that the path is correct." I should also add that receive this error when trying to open the form with a trial version of ADL. Is there a way to open the form using the downloaded ALD for SAP?

You're simply pointed to the wrong Data Source. It's an annoying thing that happens almost every time. All you have to do is go to the Data Source tab on the left and point it to the correct data source in the unzipped folder.

I too get this error, simply point the data source at the xml file included in the zip file you download, annoying and hopefully something SAP will fix, but not terminal!

Happens in IE for me sometimes.

This is one of the reasons for which I use Chrome with IE Tab.

However, if you want to edit a form using ALD, I would recommend to download the form template and edit it offline and then upload back the edited one. That would be comfortable.
