Auth. Profile in PO13(PD profile) or OOSB?

If Auth. profile is provided through OOSB, then is it mandatory to provide the same in PO13(PD Profile)?

I think, it is not required, as PO13 is an indirect way of providing Auth. profiles, similar to roles.Let me know your views.

Hi Plaban,

  If you have assigend PD profile through OOSB, there is no need to assign that profile through PO13 also. PO13 is used to assign some roles for indirect assignment to user's position which are then coiped to user's profile after the scheduled job. Through PO13 you can setup ot of things like cost center and other HR orgnaizational fields.
