LT06 Issue

Hi Experts ,

Got a production issue .

I am doing mb1b , docs are successfully posted . After that when I am doing LT06 , and try to save I am getting the below error

"Express Document "Update was terminated" received from author xxx".

When I checked it in SM 13 , I got the error as

"L3 530: Error occurred while reading storage unit 000000001018075206".

Please help to solve .

Hi Ritu,

I believe that the error message is raised because the storage type is marked as SU managed. However the quant does not contain a storage unit number. That however is not allowed. If a storage type is set as SU managed in customizing then all quants in this storage type will have an SU number.

To me it looks as if SU management has been activated for this storage type when there was already stock in this st.type...

maybe, if you change temp your customizing for this storage type and take the flag SU management (t331-LENVW) out. Then the TO for the positive stock can be done normally.

If you want storage type SU managed again you can switch it on again. Please make sure that during this customizing change no other user post into this storage type.

This is just a possibility, but a deeper analysis in the System is necessary and  of course should be tested before...

Let us resolve this issue and permanently.

first of all check the quant and get in which storage type it is available looks like the storage type which has quant is not SU Managed.

this can be checked in OLML-->Warehouse Management-->Master Data-->Storage type.

check whether the SU Management active for your warehouse?

are you using Handling Units for your client ,confirm this also?

Move the stock manually using TCode LT01-->Movement type 999-->

destination stoage type should be SU managed

Confirm the transfer order

You should get a quant with SU numner.

No need to craete a transfer requirement for the material document .

do this manually using LT01 999

What movement type you are using in MB1B.

i belive there is some inconsistency happened in the storage unit,check the storage unit in LS33.

check whether you have sufficient quant in source.

did you made config changes in the storage type?

based on movement type i can help you.
