Hi All,

How to include multiple variants in a single job definition instead of multiple job definition.

Please help me on this.

Thanks

You have a couple of options I can think of off the top of my head.

1. Use the CPS Import job to import the Variants related to the ABAPs for that job/system - these will then be options by default.

2. Setup a constraint on the Variant parameter in the definition - you could use a list here - however I think you're better off importing them - in fact I would recommend consideration for a periodic import of updated Variants

NOTE: there is also an issue with SAP type jobs in SAP CPS up to version M33.65 where list constraints actually don't work in this type of job definition - therefore for option 2 you want to go to the latest version of CPS.

But how to run the different variants in a single job definition .

If using cps job import we are able to import only the variants . But i need to run the different variants under a single job instead of multiple job definition .

Thanks

Just include the program name in the definition, but NOT the variant details. If you've imported the variants you should find they appear as a validated list - test that and let me know
