E-separation Applications opening blank page in portal

Hi Experts,

Eseperation applications like HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_EE and    HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_RM are not available in standard menu role under transaction lpd_cust.

When i added them in my custom role under lpd_cust, they are opening blank page in portal as attached. I maintained all the parametres required and provided in other eseperation applications.

Application--> HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_EE

Configration--> HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_EE

Application Parameter--> COUNTRYGROUPING=40&ENTRY_ROLE=EE&SOLUTION_TYPE=ESEP

All these parameters are given while adding this application.

Moreover this application runs fine when i test them through se80.

Please help.

In LPD_CUST, you have to add as per below screen shot. Check it's the same or not.

In Target Application Parameters check is there any empty space at last.

actually i did this in lpd_ cust earlier and it was working .some how it was deleted and created again ,but now suddenly this is giving a blank tab.I have checked everything but couldn't find the root cause.

Blank page will display if there is no Application configuration value is maintained.

Did you compare the config. with above screen shot which I mentioned.

Dear Shankar,

I have already maintained the application in lpd_cust

and when i click on link in ESS.

If i create a url iview and provide the url of application it works.

I could think of a reason which is causing this issue.

did u assign roles in portal for that user from User adminsitration ESS WDABAP  roles once check it ..

In your screen shot, you have maintained Application & Configuration fields with same parameter. i.e HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_HR

You have to maintain the HR_EA_AC_OVERVIEW_HR instead of HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_HR in Configuration field

Configuration: HR_EA_AC_OVERVIEW_HR

HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_HR is activated and I can test the service.

but when i integrate this application to portal.I can only see a blank tab.

what could be issue?? please guide.

Hi Siddhartha,

Those applications will be available under life and work events.

Check BP should be BPERPESSWDA 1.50.

check whether you have activated the business function HCM_LOC_CI_21

check in portal BP content provided by SAP, whether e separation is available.

Also check from the backend whether the following application it is getting executed successfully,

HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_AD

HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_AP

HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_CU

HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_EE

HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_HR

HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_RM

HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_TO

Thanks for reply, these applications works fine in backend.

Also applications like HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_CU, HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_TO, HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_HR works fine in portal also as they were present in standard ESS Role in backend(lpd_cust). The applications which i added like HR_EA_A_OVERVIEW_EE is not opening in portal. please find the screen shot attched in last post.

If it would have been problem in business function, then these applications might also not work in backend. But all these applications are working at backend.

We have installed BPERPESSWDA 1.50 thats why other eseperation applications are working fine in portal.

Hi Meera,

I think portal style sheet and wd abap style sheet are not compatible.

Do you know how to check the portal style sheet version.

I know how to check the style sheet version of wd abap.

If you could help me then probably we can compare the two versions. But its strange that other wd abap applications are working fine.  The only different thing in these iviews are that they include flex.
